Residential Life

Over 3,000 students live on campus in 15 campus residence halls offering a variety of living options and themed housing including first-year experience, honors academy, visual and performing arts, and cultural diversity housing communities for students living on campus. The residence hall staff of professionals and student assistants -- resident directors (RDs) and resident assistants (RAs) foster a safe healthy living and learning community that encourages personal development and mutual respect. The residence halls are all within easy walking distance of academic buildings, campus activities and downtown Radford, and each residence hall has a community TV lounge, kitchen, laundry room, study lounge, 24-hour quiet lounge, vending machines, and recycling areas. Unless otherwise specified, the halls are coed by suite with two rooms sharing one bathroom.
