Learning Assistance and Resource Center (LARC)

The Learning Assistance and Resource Center (LARC) is an all-inclusive student academic center, providing services to promote academic achievement and success. As an RU student, you can take advantage of individual or group tutoring sessions offered by staff and student-tutors who have received training as College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) certified tutors. Writing tutors aid students with writing assignments for any discipline. Math and science tutors help students understand formulas, grasp abstract concepts, and reinforce problem solving skills. Additionally, students can improve and maximize their learning skills, reading comprehension, and test taking strategies through one-on-one consultations and in workshops offered throughout the semester.
