Leadership Opportunities

Employers consistently rank leadership skills among the most important qualities they are seeking in employees and as a Radford University student, you will have numerous opportunities to become a  campus leader.   The Student Leader Resources Office is there to provide aspiring leaders with the tools and expertise to hone their leadership abilities.

As a new student, you will want to check out the LEAD Scholar Program. LEAD-- Leadership through Experience, Academics, and Development, is a comprehensive leadership program in which students enroll in LEAD 110: Emerging Leadership, and then in nine additional hours of courses with leadership content before they graduate.

You will also want to be sure to come to Club Fair -- held the first Friday of the Fall Semester.  Club fair is an annual celebration of student involvement and provides an opportunity to enjoy free food, music, and entertainment while talking with representatives from over 200 RU clubs and organizations.
