While students are away at Radford University, families can also play a great part in the RU community. The RU Family Association has been designed to provide opportunities for families to partner with the University through programming, support, and involvement ultimately to enhance student academic, social, and personal engagement and development. Meeting twice a year and divided up into five separate subcommittees, the RU Family Association truly encourages any RU family member to get involved!

Parents of RU students are also invited to Family Weekend each year. It's a time to relax, have fun and enjoy being with your RU student. Best of all, you don't have to worry about anything — RU will have events and activities for all ages scheduled throughout the weekend. Visit the Family Weekend site to get a sense of the program.
