Office of Emergency Preparedness

In case of emergencies on campus, RU has developed The Office of Emergency Preparedness (OEP). Dedicated to serving the RU community in prevention and reaction to any event that could have potential effect, OEP is at the forefront of campus safety. The OEP has developed the RU Alert system that allows the RU community to be notified of any concerns through email, calls, text messages, and even sirens heard throughout campus. Campus wide plans of action, training programs and education are also part of the continued process of OEP to keep Radford University safe.
